When we first came out with this service we had some confused customers that asked us if helped put out fires. Our answer would have to be yes, but the more correct term, in this case, is that we help prevent fires with these services. As you probably know due to the rough style of winter that we get around here a lot of trees and plants will literally dry up completely during certain times of the year. Leaving all of those dry leaves and branches on the ground could be a good recipe for storm damage.
Not As Easy As It May Seem
Ok, so you just pick up the dead leaves and twigs and call it a day? Well, not quite there is a little more to our services than that! Obviously picking up all of these dry twigs and leaves is part of the service. What we will do is come in and gather up all of the debris that we can find and load it up on the truck so that you don’t have to worry about it again. It is also part of great waste management strategy by the way. As we said though it doesn’t end there.
What To Do With Dry Bushes
A lot of times there will be plenty of bushes around that are going remain standing through the winter, but that does not mean that they are no longer flammable or a fire threat. A lot of what remains inside the bush can catch on fire pretty quick. What we can do in these cases would be to get some sand and apply to the bush so that if a fire does develop it can burn out fairly quickly. There are other types of strategies that we implement depending on the specific situation at hand!
Knowing When To Pull The Plug
A lot of times people will just keep plants or trees around because they don’t really see them as any form of a threat. That is great because you really can’t live your life scared 24/7, but at times you have to make a wise decision. That decision may be to give us a call and let us remove that bush that is not going to flourish again or maybe that tree that you have at home. As we have said before we know that we need plants and trees more than anything these days, but we also know when it is best to call it and give up on one!
Camp Fire Dangers
People love to set up campfires in the night and tell ghost stories and things like that, but what you should not love is to leave a lot of the fuel that you have for the fire which could be any wooden based products in such a way that they may pose a threat. It may be a simple concept, but we can help you set up specific areas where you can build a fire safely without putting the rest of the property at risk!
